Joachim Christian Gertsen Geelmuyden (1730-83)

He belonged to a family of Dutch-originated Norwegian officials, with his father being a parish priest and his grandfather being a merchant. Despite studying law, he dropped out of university. Instead, he would rise the ranks in Norwegian society to become a City Manager of Bergen.
