I tried to avoid loanwords in the best way I could, but only allowed jydn, which can be the transliteration of engine. Other then that, the actual Kernowek word for technology is the English loanword itself. Since the -ology suffix refers to study, I thought it would be interesting to use the Kernowek word for it, which also turns out to be a loanword itself. I figured at that point to use a more poetic form of any compounding juxtaposition, so I took the present participle of to read and combined it with Jydn to make the meaning \”machine-reading.\” It would make sense considering how the neologism for computer literally means \”counting-machine.\”
