Translation

innovation, renewal

Etymology

nowedhi: to renew

+

-yans: nominalization

Commentary

This is a calque translation of the word innovation which comes from Latin literally meaning \”renewal.\” I figured that a word that is as abstract as this would need to have a direct translation from the original Latin.
