Marshall: (English) the phonetic Anglicization version of Mashal

After attending school, he would travel to Belgium to study textile manufacturing, and then travel to London to study law. He would later witness the Japanese invasion of Singapore and would talk about the horrors he witnessed as a prisoner-of-war.

After World War II, Marshall would become an attorney.
