He would work for Fusajiro Yamauchi who was president of Nintendo when it first started selling trading cards. By being adopted in the Japanese style of adult adoption, he would marry Yamauchi’s daughter Tei.

When Fusajiro died, Sekiryo would become the 2nd president of Nintendo. One of the primary changes he instated was to create a branch of the company dedicated to edutainment.
