This name change is a weird inclusion in the Identifying Imaginative Identities series, since the el is replaced by a colon.
Axel Johnson (1844–1910)
As the son of the industrialist, Carl Johan Johnson, Axel would found his own company called A. Johnson & Co. It focused primarily on importing coal and exporting iron. Johnson was also unique in his time for stock trading, which was not a feature of Swedish businessmen at the time.
Eventually, he would become one of the wealthiest men in Sweden, engaging in trade in South America.

The fourth-generation member of the family, Antonio Ax:son Johnson, was worth $8.8 billion.
